The Texas Observer has released the latest installment of 'Loon Star State', the political cartoon series by longtime cartoonist Ben Sargent. The new strip, shared via the magazine's outlets, touches on Donald Trump and current politics. Sargent won a Pulitzer Prize in 1982 for his editorial cartoons, and his work remains a fixture of Texas political commentary, often skewering state and national figures.

Why now: Sargent's satirical take on Trump and Texas politics resonates with readers following current political news.
