Samsung News app shutting down, users pointed to Google Discover
Original: samsung news
Samsung is shutting down its Samsung News service, and users are being guided on how to switch to Google Discover as a replacement for their news feed. Reports note that the company's own news aggregation app will no longer be available, leaving Galaxy device owners to rely on Google's built-in feed instead.
Why now: The shutdown forces Galaxy users to change how they get news on their phones.
