Taito will put the Crown 603, successor to Japan's first domestically made crane game machine, back into operation for the first time in about 60 years. The restored arcade cabinet goes on display from November 6, letting visitors see and play a piece of Japanese amusement history that helped launch the country's crane game culture.
Why now: The rare restoration and public display of a historically significant arcade machine is drawing attention from gaming fans.
