Modder TrashBench fitted a discarded 4-kW air conditioner radiator into his test bench to see whether it could cool a gaming PC. The experiment delivered striking results, with an Nvidia RTX 3080 reaching just 28 degrees Celsius under load. Enthusiasts are praising the build as proof that oversized salvaged hardware can outperform conventional consumer PC cooling setups at minimal cost.

Why now: The dramatically low 28C GPU temperature achieved with junk hardware is surprising to PC cooling enthusiasts.
