Skyblivion mod faces lawsuit from former volunteer

Original: skyblivion

The long-awaited Skyblivion mod, a fan remake of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion inside Skyrim, is facing a lawsuit from a former volunteer on the project. The mod's project lead has publicly urged the community not to turn the dispute into a 'witch hunt' against the ex-volunteer. Fans are closely watching the legal fight, which could affect the release of the ambitious, years-in-the-making free mod.

Why now: A lawsuit against the beloved fan project has cast uncertainty over one of gaming's most anticipated mods.
