Reader seeks books in foreign languages for learning

Original: Cherche # livres en # langues étrangères. # language Ecrits français ou anglais, comportant du texte de la # langue cibl

A reader is asking for book suggestions to help learn German, Dutch, Turkish or Polish. They want texts written in French or English that contain passages in the target language, ruling out conversation guides, lexicons, or bilingual one-page-per-language editions. The request is circulating among book lovers and language learners, who are invited to reply with reading recommendations.

Why now: A public request for language-learning reading recommendations is drawing responses from fellow readers.
