Ten years have passed since the death of Tina Anselmi, Italy's first female government minister and a key figure in the birth of the Republic, remembered as one of the 'mothers' of Italian democracy. The anniversary is being marked with tributes, including the Rai fiction 'Una vita per la democrazia', available on RaiPlay, which recounts her life and political career.
Why now: The tenth anniversary of her death has prompted public tributes and renewed attention to her legacy.
