Thousands of young Germans march under 'GenZregelt' banner

Original: # GenZregelt : « Il est temps de résister » En # Allemagne , des milliers de jeunes dans la rue pour réclamer davantage

Thousands of young people took to the streets across Germany under the slogan 'GenZregelt' ('Gen Z rules'), demanding more funding for education. Demonstrators denounced the poor state of schools, the rising cost of living and climate change, and voiced opposition to the possible reintroduction of compulsory military-style service. Organisers say it is time to resist, framing the protests as a generational demand for a say in their future.

Why now: Large youth-led protests in Germany over education funding and broader social grievances have drawn wide attention.
