Tens of thousands of young people demonstrated across Germany on Saturday, demanding greater investment in education. The rallies, organised under the banner 'GenZ regelt!', were inspired by similar youth movements in other European countries. Police and protesters clashed at some of the gatherings, with reports of tensions during the otherwise large-scale peaceful marches.
