Koji Yakusho draws attention in Japan

Original: 役所広司

Japanese actor Koji Yakusho is a top search topic in Japan. Media coverage includes a Yomiuri Shimbun piece on the Netflix release '俺のこと、なんか言ってた？' (Did Anyone Say Anything About Me?), which follows a major actor's struggles after being forgotten by the industry, and TBS's recap of Sunday drama 'VIVANT', episode 22, where the identity of the 'miracle child' is revealed and a supposedly dead character appears.

Why now: Fresh Netflix content featuring Yakusho and the ongoing VIVANT drama finale have put his name back in the spotlight.
