UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres affirmed that the non-renewal of the mandate of MINURSO, the UN peacekeeping mission for Western Sahara, does not affect the Sahrawi people's right to self-determination. The Sahrawi Arab News Agency reported his statement, underscoring that the UN position on the disputed territory remains unchanged despite the mission's mandate lapse.
