Valtteri Bottas says a decision on his Formula 1 future could come soon. The Finnish driver, who races for Cadillac, points to his contract and the team's upcoming commitments in the United States as factors in the timing. He did not confirm whether he will stay with the outfit beyond the current arrangement, leaving open whether Cadillac might replace him.

Why now: Cadillac's expanding American operations have put its driver line-up, including Bottas, under scrutiny.
