Bills safety Cole Bishop draws attention after Gardner-Johnson suspension

Original: cole bishop

Buffalo Bills safety Cole Bishop is in the spotlight after the NFL suspended fellow safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson. With Gardner-Johnson sidelined, Bishop is expected to take on a bigger role in the Bills' secondary, and local coverage argues the suspension could actually benefit Buffalo's defense by accelerating the young safety's development.

Why now: Gardner-Johnson's suspension has raised questions about who fills his role, putting Bishop's playing time in focus.
