NFL fans are reacting to Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert nearly completing a Hail Mary, praising the strength and accuracy of his arm. Some observers compared the throw to Aaron Rodgers' famous Hail Mary for Green Bay against Detroit on Thanksgiving a few years ago, calling Herbert's attempt remarkable despite it falling short of a touchdown.
Why now: Herbert's long heave was dramatic and drew instant comparisons to one of the most famous Hail Mary throws in recent NFL history
