Xreal Aura smart glasses open preorders with Google Android XR
Original: Xreal Aura: Preorders open for smart glasses powered by Google Android XR
Preorders are now open for the Xreal Aura, a pair of smart glasses running Google's Android XR operating system. The launch marks another step in the push to bring headset-style mixed reality software to lightweight glasses, and it puts Xreal in direct competition with other Android XR partners such as Samsung as the spatial computing market heats up.
Why now: Preorders just opened, making the Aura one of the first Android XR glasses consumers can actually buy.
