A BBC video examining the science of race, human genetics and racism is being shared online after a technical hiccup: the privacy-focused Invidious front end failed to display the video's cover image, prompting the poster to fetch the thumbnail directly and share a YouTube link alongside the Invidious one. The sharer expresses curiosity about the video's framing, inviting others interested in the science of race and genetics to watch.
Why now: The BBC video's take on the genetics of race is sparking discussion, and the Invidious thumbnail glitch gave people an extra reason to share and compare links.
