More than 300 arrested at Palestine Action protest in London
Original: More than 300 arrests at Palestine Action support protest outside US embassy
Police arrested more than 300 people at a demonstration outside the US embassy in London in support of Palestine Action. The group was proscribed under UK terrorism laws in July 2025, and police say over 4,000 people have now been arrested for supporting it since then. The mass arrests are intensifying debate over the scope of the ban and the policing of protests.
Why now: The sheer scale of arrests at a single protest is reigniting controversy over the proscription of Palestine Action and UK protest policing.
