Chiefs sign Justin Tucker, keeping Harrison Butker as kicker

Original: harrison butker

The Kansas City Chiefs have signed veteran kicker Justin Tucker, his first NFL deal since sexual misconduct allegations derailed his career with the Baltimore Ravens. Special teams coordinator Dave Toub says Harrison Butker remains the team's kicker despite recent struggles, setting up a competition. Patrick Mahomes has publicly commented on the controversial signing.

Why now: Tucker's return to the NFL with Kansas City puts pressure on struggling incumbent Butker and has reignited debate over the misconduct allegations.
