Commanders fans vent frustration with 'Stop the Carrie Underwood' chant

Original: Stop the Carrie Underwood! #NFL | #HTTC | #Commanders | #RaiseHail | #FireDQ

Washington Commanders fans are circulating a rallying cry reading 'Stop the Carrie Underwood!' alongside hashtags including #HTTC, #RaiseHail and #FireDQ. The phrase references the Sunday Night Football theme song performed by Carrie Underwood, a fixture of NFL broadcasts. The inclusion of #FireDQ, a reference to head coach Dan Quinn, suggests the post is really an expression of frustration with the team's on-field performance and coaching.

Why now: Frustrated Commanders fans are using the Sunday Night Football intro as a way to voice criticism of the team's recent performance and Dan Quinn's coaching.
