Buccaneers win over Falcons without a single completion
Original: Buccaneers' Todd Bowles on zero-completion win over Falcons: There's a 'first time for everything'
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Atlanta Falcons in a game in which they recorded zero completions, a rarity in NFL history. Head coach Todd Bowles reacted with bemusement, saying there is a "first time for everything." The unusual stat line is drawing attention from fans and analysts, who are questioning how a team can win while completing no passes and what it says about both offenses.
Why now: A winning NFL game with zero completions is an almost unprecedented statistical anomaly.
