UNDP Highlights the Future of Work in the Age of AI
Original: The Future of Work in the Age of AI
The United Nations Development Programme is drawing attention to how artificial intelligence is reshaping employment worldwide. The discussion centres on which jobs will be transformed or displaced, the new skills workers will need, and how governments can prepare labour markets for rapid technological change. As AI adoption accelerates across industries, international organisations are urging policymakers to focus on retraining, social protection and equitable access to the benefits of automation.
Why now: Concerns about AI's impact on jobs and the need for policy guidance are driving current debate on the future of work.
