Fedi gamers go live with Halloween REPO stream
Original: Ready, steady, go; we are ON-AIR! See you stream-side, fedizens. Last day of Spooky Season! | REPO with Friends! #Owncas
A streamer on the fediverse has gone live to play the co-op horror game R.E.P.O. with friends on the final day of Halloween season. The broadcast, hosted on a self-hosted Owncast instance, invites 'fedizens' to watch and chat along in English, with an LGBTQ-friendly, community-driven atmosphere around spooky games.
Why now: It is Halloween, so communities are sharing spooky gaming streams, and Owncast highlights independent, decentralised streaming.
