$2 Million Funding Open for Climate Early Warning Systems
Original: Apply Now: $2 Million for Climate-informed Early Warning Systems
A new funding opportunity offers up to $2 million for projects building climate-informed early warning systems. The call, publicised by ICTworks, targets organisations working to help vulnerable communities anticipate and respond to climate-related hazards such as floods, droughts and storms. Applicants are being encouraged to submit proposals, with practitioners in development and climate adaptation circles sharing the opportunity widely.
Why now: A large new grant for climate resilience projects is currently open to applications, prompting organisations to spread the word.
