Original: Alex Garland’s Elden Ring adaptation is on course to be Hollywood’s goriest ever fantasy movie

Director Alex Garland's film adaptation of the video game Elden Ring is reportedly on course to become the goriest fantasy movie Hollywood has ever produced. Early coverage highlights the project's extreme levels of violence, consistent with the game's notoriously brutal world created by FromSoftware. No release date or casting details are given, and discussion so far centres on how far the film will push gore limits for the fantasy genre.
