IDF Says It Killed Two Hamas Nukhba Fighters in Gaza Strikes
Original: IDF Kills Two Hamas Nukhba Terrorists In Latest Gaza Strikes
The Israel Defense Forces says its latest airstrikes in Gaza killed two members of Hamas's Nukhba forces, the elite unit implicated in the October 7, 2023 attack on Israel. The announcement comes as Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip continue, with the IDF regularly reporting strikes on Hamas operatives and infrastructure. Coverage so far is limited to the Israeli channel's report, and Hamas has not been quoted confirming or responding to the claim.
Why now: Ongoing conflict in Gaza keeps every reported IDF strike on Hamas operatives in the news cycle.
