Michigan Democrat Haley Stevens backs Republican at midterms

Original: midterms usa

Trump has praised Democratic congresswoman Haley Stevens, saying she 'has courage', after she urged voters in Michigan to support a Republican candidate in the US midterm elections. The unusual cross-party endorsement from a sitting Democratic lawmaker is drawing attention as candidates nationwide stake out positions ahead of the vote.
