Original: Jared Moskowitz says threats and rising costs are shaping his fight for Congress

Florida congressman Jared Moskowitz says security threats against him and rising living costs are defining his campaign to keep his seat in Congress. In comments to local media, he framed the race around both his personal safety and the economic pressures facing voters in his district. The remarks come as campaigns nationwide weigh voter frustration over prices alongside heightened concern about threats to public officials.

Why now: Moskowitz is publicly linking his reelection campaign to personal security threats and cost-of-living concerns, drawing attention to both issues.
