Pilot brawl forces Dubai-Tel Aviv flight to divert to Saudi Arabia

Original: israel

A flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia after a brawl broke out between pilots in the cockpit, triggering a hijacking alert, according to Ynetnews. The unusual mid-air incident put Saudi-Israeli aviation cooperation in the spotlight, given the two countries have no formal diplomatic relations, and is drawing wide attention to the airline's crew procedures.

Why now: The dramatic mid-flight pilot fight and rare emergency landing in Saudi Arabia is startling news involving Israel.
