Scientists ask public for photos of wildlife feeding
Original: Why scientists want your photos of wildlife eating lunch
Scientists are asking the public to submit photos of wildlife eating or foraging, a campaign reported by US local media. Citizen-science images like these can help researchers track what animals eat, how diets shift with seasons and human activity, and how species respond to changing habitats. The appeal invites hikers, gardeners and photographers to contribute ordinary sightings of animals mid-meal.
Why now: A public call for wildlife photos is an easy, novel way for people to join citizen science, drawing attention and participation.
Rank over time, top of the chart is #1. 6 snapshots from 3 d ago to 3 d ago.
