Fitbit Edge launches without contactless payments
Original: The Fitbit Edge lacks a useful contactless feature It's handy, but most people likely won't miss it. https://www. engadg
Google's new Fitbit Edge fitness tracker has launched without NFC support, meaning it cannot handle contactless payments, a feature included on many previous Fitbit models. Reviews note the omission is a drawback, though the publication argues the feature was handy rather than essential and that most buyers are unlikely to miss it in day-to-day use.
Why now: The newly released Fitbit Edge is drawing review coverage, and the dropped NFC payment feature stands out as a notable difference from earlier models.
