Original: Watch | Palestinian citizen of Israel exposes the double standards behind Israel’s claims of diversity and inclusion. #
A Palestinian citizen of Israel has publicly criticised what she describes as double standards in Israel's official narrative of being a diverse and inclusive society. The remarks, circulated widely on social media, come amid ongoing debate over the treatment of Palestinian citizens within Israel and the broader Israel-Palestine conflict, drawing attention to questions of equality, discrimination and political rights.
Why now: Ongoing conflict in Gaza and debate over the status of Palestinians inside Israel keep scrutiny of Israel's diversity claims high.
