Around 2,800 troops from 10 European countries will take part in a military exercise in southeastern Poland from November 9 to 22, led by France and Britain. The drill is described as the first test of a multinational force that could be deployed to Ukraine as peacekeepers if a ceasefire is reached, making it a key step in European contingency planning.
