Ukraine Names 23 Firms Supplying Missiles for Russia's Pantsir Defenses
Original: Ukraine Identifies 23 Companies Making Missiles for Russia’s Pantsir—One-Third Remain Unsanctioned
Ukraine says it has identified 23 companies producing missiles for Russia's Pantsir air defense systems, and that roughly one-third of them still face no international sanctions. Kyiv is pushing allies to impose restrictions on the remaining firms to cut off the supply chain behind the systems that shield Russian targets from Ukrainian strikes.
Why now: Kyiv's push to get remaining suppliers sanctioned highlights the ongoing effort to weaken Russia's air defense supply chain amid the war.
