Israeli officials reportedly suspect flydubai emergency was terrorism
Original: Reports: Israeli officials increasingly believe flydubai emergency was terror
Israeli officials increasingly believe a flydubai flight emergency was the result of a terrorist act, according to reports cited by The Times of Israel. The assessment suggests authorities are shifting away from treating the incident as an accident or technical failure. Details about the nature of the emergency and the evidence behind the terror assessment remain limited, and flydubai has not confirmed any findings.
Why now: Reports that Israel views the flydubai incident as terrorism raise security concerns and would mark a significant escalation in the interpretation of the event.
