Trump claims he is the only person Kim Jong Un likes
Original: Trump claims he is only person in the world Kim Jong Un likes - really
Donald Trump has claimed that he is the only person in the world whom North Korean leader Kim Jong Un likes, repeating his characterization of their unusually warm personal relationship during his presidency. The remark drew attention and skepticism, as Trump and Kim met several times between 2018 and 2019 but their diplomacy ended without a nuclear agreement, and the two leaders have not been publicly in contact since.
Why now: Trump's striking personal claim about a dictator known for isolation revives debate over his unconventional approach to North Korea.
