The pioneering 1987 electronic act M|A|R|R|S, best known for the one-off UK hit "Pump Up the Volume," is the subject of posts in the hashtag game DirectionsASong, where players reinterpret song titles as literal directions. Fans shared links to the group's music as part of the theme, keeping the short-lived project visible decades after its release.

Why now: A hashtag game inviting playful reinterpretations of song titles is trending, drawing in mentions of classic electronic acts.
