Original: Within the last hour, after reports that Bibi called Trump, the # USA struck # Qeshm Island, # Iran (Monday, November 2)
Reports circulating Monday, November 2 claim the United States struck Qeshm Island in Iran, with five to six explosions reported in rapid succession. The strikes allegedly followed a phone call between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Trump. Qeshm is said to host an underground missile site, an IRGC naval base and a major desalination plant.
Why now: The reported strike, coming right after a Netanyahu-Trump call, raises fears of a direct US-Iran escalation in an ongoing conflict.
