Thomas Markle's home searched in child abuse material probe

Original: thomas markle

Mexican outlet El Economista reports that authorities raided a property belonging to Thomas Markle, father of Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and father-in-law of Prince Harry, in Baja California, as part of an investigation into child sexual abuse material. The story is drawing attention given Markle's long-running estrangement from his daughter and past media appearances about the royal family. Details of the investigation and any charges have not been confirmed.

Why now: The rare involvement of a celebrity-adjacent royal family figure in a serious criminal investigation is driving searches and coverage.
