The Onion Declares Milwaukee Brewers World Series Winners

Original: Milwaukee Brewers Win First World Series https:// fed.brid.gy/r/https://theonion .com/milwaukee-brewers-win-first-world-

The satirical news outlet The Onion has published a piece proclaiming that the Milwaukee Brewers have won the first World Series in franchise history. The Brewers have never actually won the World Series, so the article is clearly parody playing on fans' long wait for a championship rather than reporting a real result. Readers online are sharing it as typical Onion humour.

Why now: The Brewers have never won a World Series, so the claim is obvious satire that readers find amusing to share.
