Affinity creative suite confirmed for Linux, no release date yet
Original: Affinity is coming to Linux (but there’s no ETA yet) # news # affinity # canva https://www. omgubuntu.co.uk/2026/11/affi
Canva's Affinity suite of creative applications is officially coming to Linux, according to OMG! Ubuntu. The announcement ends years of requests from designers who wanted the Photoshop and Illustrator alternatives on Linux, but the company has given no release date or timeline. Reaction among Linux users is enthusiastic, though many are cautious until a launch window is confirmed.
Why now: Linux users have long requested the popular Affinity design apps, so official confirmation is major news for the open-source desktop community.
