Original: RE: https:// journa.host/@ScottLucas/117550 874535449822 # Ukraine drones strike oil refinery in # Russia city of Yarosl

Ukrainian drones struck the Slavneft-YANOS oil refinery in the Russian city of Yaroslavl overnight. Residents reported three separate fires in the refinery's industrial zone, which lies around 250 km northeast of Moscow. The attack forms part of Ukraine's ongoing campaign of long-range drone strikes targeting Russian energy infrastructure used to fuel its war effort.

Why now: A major Russian oil refinery was hit by Ukrainian drones far from the front line, continuing the pattern of strikes on energy infrastructure.
