Open Source Logic Pro Clone Now Runs on Windows
Original: They Cloned Logic Pro!? (Made It Open Source & Works on Windows)
Apple's Logic Pro has long been Mac-only, but a project claiming to recreate the popular music production software as a free, open-source alternative that works on Windows is drawing major attention. Music producers are reacting to the idea of getting a Logic-style workflow without buying Apple hardware, sparking debate over how close the clone comes to the original.
Why now: Logic Pro is one of the most popular DAWs but is restricted to Mac, so a free open-source Windows-compatible alternative is a big deal for producers
