Original: UCLA’s bare walls are an eyesore. Let’s get more student art up on them
A student newspaper opinion piece argues that UCLA's bare campus walls are an eyesore and calls on the university to display more artwork by its own students. The writer suggests student art would brighten campus spaces and better showcase creative talent at the school. The appeal is circulating among readers discussing how the university decorates its buildings.
Why now: The argument that UCLA should fill empty walls with student artwork is prompting debate about campus aesthetics and support for student artists.
