Samsung is phasing out the Samsung News service on its Galaxy smartphones, with reports confirming the feature will stop working for users. Tech commentators note the removal is part of Samsung trimming bundled apps and services from its devices, leaving users to rely on alternatives such as Google Discover for news content on their phones.
Why now: Samsung users are reacting to losing a pre-installed news service as the company continues cutting back its software offerings.
