Volunteers invited to spot quokkas for environmental research
Original: What could be a better use of your spare time than helping environmental research by looking for Quokkas? # Environment
A citizen science project on Zooniverse called Quokkas and Co is inviting people to use their spare time helping environmental research by identifying quokkas, the small marsupials native to Australia, in images. Posts sharing the project highlight it as an easy way for anyone online to contribute to wildlife and conservation research without leaving home.
Why now: People are drawn to low-effort volunteering that directly supports wildlife conservation research
