Bears upset Seahawks and ESPN panel picks on Monday night
Original: NFL fans react to Bears proving Monday Night Countdown crew’s Seahawks prediction wrong
The Chicago Bears defeated the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football, contradicting the predictions made by ESPN's Monday Night Countdown crew, who had largely backed Seattle before kickoff. NFL fans have been quick to react, mocking the analysts' missed calls and celebrating the Bears' win across sports media and social platforms.
Why now: An upset result on a nationally televised Monday night game made the pregame pundits' wrong predictions an easy talking point for fans.
