Casio's sticker-printing console now runs Doom
Original: LoopyDOOM lets Casio’s sticker-printing console print a frame of Doom https:// lockergnome.com/casio-loopy-do om-prints-
A hacker project called LoopyDOOM has got id Software's Doom running on the Casio Loopy, a 1995 games console aimed at girls that prints stickers. As a bonus, each captured frame of the game can be printed out as a thermal sticker. Retro gaming fans are sharing the mod, amused that a decades-old novelty console can now output screenshots of one of gaming's most famous shooters.
Why now: The unlikely pairing of an obscure sticker-printing console with Doom is a fun retro-tech hack, so hobbyists are sharing it.
