It has been twenty years since Bomberman: Act Zero was released for the Xbox 360 by Microsoft. The grim, dark redesign of Hudson Soft's classic bomb-dropping franchise became infamous for abandoning the series' colourful charm and was widely panned by critics. Retro gaming fans are marking the anniversary, recalling it as one of the most notorious missteps in the Bomberman series' history.
Why now: Gamers are marking the 20th anniversary of a release remembered as one of the franchise's biggest failures.
