Original: Goodbye to Days Gone 2: Leaked reports suggest Bend Studio’s next game will be a co-op shooter to be announced
Leaked reports indicate that Bend Studio, the Sony-owned developer behind Days Gone, is working on a new co-op shooter rather than a sequel to its 2019 zombie open-world game. The reports suggest the unannounced project could be revealed soon, effectively ending fans' long-running hopes for Days Gone 2. Players have debated the studio's direction, given the original game's devoted following since its release.
Why now: Reports that the long-hoped-for Days Gone 2 will not happen have reignited debate among fans of the original game.
