Drivers warned to watch for wildlife as clocks fall back
Original: Drivers urged to watch for wildlife on roadways as daylight saving time ends
Officials are urging drivers to be extra alert for wildlife on roadways now that daylight saving time has ended and evenings darken earlier. Wyoming Game and Fish says the shift to darker rush hours increases the risk of collisions with deer, elk and other animals moving at dusk and dawn, and asks motorists to slow down and stay watchful.
Why now: The end of daylight saving time brings darker evening commutes, raising the risk of wildlife-vehicle collisions.
